The Norfolk Tides are a professional Minor League Baseball team in the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. Based in Norfolk, Virginia, the club plays home games at Harbor Park, a downtown waterfront stadium on the Elizabeth River that opened on April 14, 1993 and seats 11,856. Harbor Park includes almost 9,000 lower-deck seats, 2,800 upper-deck seats, 24 luxury skyboxes, a 225-seat restaurant called Hits at the Park, and a 500-person tiered picnic area. The Tides have been the Orioles’ top affiliate since 2007, after a 38-year affiliation with the New York Mets.
