Blue Rodeo
Blue Rodeo is a Canadian rock band founded in Toronto in 1984 by singer-songwriters Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor. Their music blends country, blues, folk, and rock, and they first performed at Toronto’s Rivoli in 1985 before building a loyal following through extensive touring across Canada and occasional trips into the United States. Their debut album, Outskirts, featured the hit single ’Try,’ and their 1993 acoustic album Five Days in July became their commercial peak. The band has released thirteen studio albums, including 2013’s In Our Nature and 2021’s Many A Mile, and has sold more than four million records. Blue Rodeo has received 31 JUNO nominations, won 12, and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2012 and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.
